I think Galileo had it all wrong - the universe spins around Paris. And here we are back in the center. We didn't wander too far this summer, but I'll tell you about my first long vacation in another post. This blog will follow the cinema's recent trend of confusing artsy anachronism and start with my return.
Ahhh Paris! After a very wet and gray summer, Mom and dad had to return home last Tuesday to prepare for the French New Year - la rentrée. I have a new nanny that they wanted me to get to know gradually and of course work, that sad curse, beckoned. Hélas, I had to kiss my beloved abuelita and uncle farewell and leave the bucolic refuge that I'll write about sometime soon.

I had been away over a month - that's a full eighth of my life! So mom and dad had a weekend of Parisian activities planned to reacquaint me with this wonderful town. The program included my first picnic in the Jardin du Luxembourg, walks through the Palais Royal gardens with my wonderful godfather, and many coffees on many terraces. Ahhh - I am a lucky princess, despite the weather.
