My second Christmas certainly was better than my first! Last year, I spent my time just lying around drinking milk. But this year I discovered the real spirit of Christmas, the best thing that the holidays bring, or that Santa brings. And we all know what that is: WRAPPING PAPER!
Lots of funny boxes wrapped in lovely, crunchy, easy to tear, colorful paper. What a delight! I love Chritmas. We also sat around the fire watching the odd movie, drinking a little wine, eating chocolates and I even played piano! Abuelita made her delicious pernil de puerco with yuca and all the trimmings. The pond in front of the house was frozen solid but the house was warm and cozy.
